It is intended for variable-speed industrial duty where the motor must hold stable operating behavior as process demand shifts from one machine step to the next. An integrated line filter suppresses conducted emissions, and an external 24 V standby supply keeps the control electronics active when the main bus is isolated.

For continuous operation, the converter accepts a supply variation of ±10% around 380 to 480 V and uses field-oriented vector control for motor regulation. The converter has a mass of 6.5 kg, which suits compact cabinet mounting where multiple drive components may share limited space. All electronics and cooling passages are enclosed to IP20, so the unit must be installed inside a protective cabinet to prevent accidental contact.
