The RD51.1-5N-022-L-C1-FW is one of the components that make up the RD 500 drive system. It is an AC drive converter model designed for motion control using the U/f curve control method. It requires a 3-phase AC connecting voltage of 500 V with a +/- 10% allowance to perform its function. Damage due to heat overload is prevented during its operation as it uses forced air cooling for heat dissipation. As part of the system, it is also resistant to earth-fault, short-circuit, and idling.
The durability of the RD51.1-5N-022-L-C1-FW is enhanced by a self-test function present in the RD 500 drive system. It also has an IP 20 Ingress Protection rating according to EN 60529 requirements.
