The RD51.1-5N-007-L-C1-FW is a Bosch three-phase drive. Even though the nominal output of 7.5 kilowatts is valid for three-phase AC input at 500 Volts AC, the drive can also be operated at three-phase 200 to 230 Volts AC input. As per the type code, the product is RD, the line is 51 and the design is 1. The RD51.1-5N-007-L-C1-FW is based on an AC converter without a brake chopper. Two additional functions are also available that are connection for RZC01.1-XN which is a chemistry module, and 24 Volts stand by power. The standby power is provided to ensure that the drive control electronics operate in the absence of AC input. Furthermore the RD51.1-5N-007-L-C1-FW can also be parameterized if the backup power feature is operational. An external 24 Volts DC supply is required for this feature.
The RD51.1-5N-007-L-C1-FW relies on forced air cooling which uses fans or blowers to force air across the heated surface of the operating drive.
