The RD51.1-5B-018-L-NN-FW is a unique industrial control device designed by Rexroth Indramat to represent an advancement over conventional industrial control devices and accurately control the speed, position and general operation of synchronous and induction motors used in the industrial servo systems. This drive controller is a state-of-the-art device that features a four-line graphical display panel through which the operator can accurately monitor the operational status of the servo system; it also features special pressure-sensitive keys that can be used to send configurational instructions into the controller in real-time. The unique design of this industrial controller makes it possible for it to operate with various communication interfaces such as the SERCOS, Profibus DP, Interbus S, and the CAN bus command communication interface. This industrial controller also features an additional signal processor, which allows it to meet the operation requirement of highly dynamic applications such as metal forming machines, food processing machines, and lots more.
The RD51.1-5B-018-L-NN-FW industrial controller operates with a rated current of about 28 amperes; however, it features a high overload capacity and can withstand an input current as high as 56 amperes for more than 0.5 seconds without any damage occurring to its power circuit. The electrical components of this controller can generate a leakage current of about 3.5 milliamperes. To prevent electrical accidents, operators should ensure it is connected to a grounding system before it is switched on for operation.
