The Bosch RD51.1-5B-018-D-D1-FW is a RD52 series universal drive controller. It supports two additional functions that are connection for RZC01.1-XT with NAMUR terminal strip and 24 Volts standby power. The RZC01.1-XT is a chemistry module that is available as an accessory for RD51 drives. Chemistry modules supplement drive converters for the chemical and process industries. The standby power feature requires an external 24 Volts DC power supply. This feature allows the drive control electronics to function even if the main DC input is not available. The drive can also be parameterized when standby power is available and main DC input is not. The RD51.1-5B-018-D-D1-FW is based on a converter with integrated brake chopper. The converter operates at 500 Volts DC (three-phase). The rated controller output is 18.5 kilowatts. The controller comes with a plug through cooler for dissipation of heat energy.
The rated motor output of the RD51.1-5B-018-D-D1-FW at 4 kilohertz pulse is 18.5 kilowatts and the rated output at 8 kilohertz pulse is 15 kilowatts.
