The RD 500 Device is an ultra-modern, three-phase drive system suited for various induction and synchronous engines. This Indramat Refu product consists of DC supply inverters, AC drive converters, regenerative rectifiers, and supply modules. The hardware and software components are designed modularly, enabling the device to be adaptable to various applications. These applications include machine tools, hoist and conveyor technology, packing and foodstuff machines, handling and assembly systems, and so on.
The RD51.1-5B-007-L-C1-FW is a frequency converter in the INDRAMAT RD51 series. It utilizes a voltage frequency control making the device a perfect fit for engines without servo characteristics. Examples of these engines are present in centrifuges, moving gears, ventilators, etc. This device features a converter that requires a three-phase supply voltage of 500 V with a tolerance limit of ±10%. Meanwhile, its rated motor output and current stand at 7.5 KW and 14 A, respectively. The interfaces available include inter bus S remote bus CAN open, Profibus DP slave. Moreover, Peer to Peer coupling can be enabled with the use of a fiber optic cable.
The cooling method suited to the RD51.1-5B-007-L-C1-FW is forced air cooling. In addition, it comes with an integrated brake chopper and has an external 24 V standby power.
