Dynamic braking energy is routed to the DC link, and the unit comes without a built-in brake chopper, so applications with frequent deceleration may require an external braking resistor to absorb returned energy safely. Conducted emissions are reduced by an integrated mains filter, which can simplify panel layout in systems that need cleaner line-side behavior and fewer separate filter components. Functional scope is extended by combination C1 + F1, which adds programmable handling for speed reference signals and additional fault monitoring used by process-driven machinery.
