Modules must not directly interact with electrically insulating materials such as plastic foil, insulated tabletops, or synthetic fiber garments. The soldering iron tip must be grounded when performing soldering operations on the modules. The RD51.1 drive converters are intended for use in a variety of industrial settings. This reduces the cost of obtaining a new drive whenever a new application is added to the factory floor.
