The RD51.1-4B-090-L-C1-FW model is a three-phase drive system for various synchronous and induction motors developed by Rexroth Indramat. The RD51.1 drive converter comes with a supply module that supplies the nominal voltage of AC 380 – 480 V with ±10% tolerance to operate the drive converter. The model comes with a voltage frequency control option and an internal brake chopper is placed in this unit for maintaining the dc voltage level in the system. The model delivers the continuous power of 90 kW at the motor’s output shaft and the internal temperature of the model is maintained with the help of the forced cooling method. A blower is placed in this unit for maintaining the internal temperature of the unit. The frequency of the input voltage is 50 – 60 Hz and the output frequency of the unit is between 0 – 200 Hz. The unit provides the nominal efficiency of 0.97 – 0.98 and the ideal operating temperature range for RD51.1 is 0 to +40 degree Celsius and it can be installed at the maximum height of 1000 m/sea level.
The model RD51.1-4B-090-L-C1-FW is equipped with an operator panel that helps to operate, monitor, diagnose, and parameterize the drive converter. The RD51.1 drive converter comes with 1 analog output, 1 analog input, 1 rely output, and RS232/RS485 serial interface. The drive converter can operate at the switching frequency of 4 kHz, 6 kHz, 8 kHz, and 12 kHz.
