The Bosch RD42.1-5R-084-L/S135 is a regenerative power supply. It has a nominal input rating of 500 Volts AC. The power supply works with 3-phase AC input at 50 / 60 Hertz. The rated DC bus nominal power delivered by the power supply is 84 kilowatts. Bosch recommends use of a 200 Amps rated fuse for the RD42.1-5R-084-L/S135. The DC link voltage is 660 Volts DC. On the DC side, the rated current is 160 amps and the peak current is 240 Amps for 60 seconds. At 500 Volts AC input, on the line supply side the rated output is 105 kilowatts and the peak output is 160 kilowatts for 60 seconds. The line supply rated current at the rated line supply power is 150 Amps. The power losses of the RD42.1-5R-084-L/S135 at the rated power output are 1.5 kilowatts.
The RD42.1-5R-084-L/S135 is cooled by forced air and requires a minimum airflow of 0.2 cubic meters per seconds for proper cooling. Size class of the power supply is F and is has IP20 ingress protection rating. The power supply should be stored in an area which is clean and dry and where the ambient temperature is between -25 and 70 degrees Celsius. Temperature fluctuations exceeding 20 K per hour are not permitted during storage. For normal operation the ambient temperature should be between an 0 and 40 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity should be less than 90%. If the RD42.1-5R-084-L/S135 is installed at altitudes above 1000 meters, its utilization should be reduced to correspond to the derating data detailed in the product documentation. The output of the RD42.1-5R-084-L/S135 derates to approximately 83% of rated output at 2000 meters. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
