The drive is delivered with other components needed during installation, such as the plug-in module, keypad for the control panel, and a programming module for the motor. In the case of damage, maintenance and exchange is performed on the controller and not the programming module as it can be re-used with a new drive controller.

The drive programming module allows for easy duplication of earlier adopted modules through the use of a serial interface, a storage device, or a duplicating adopter.
