The RAC 2.2-150-380-A0I-W1 main spindle drive controller can make the spindle function as a C-axis or as a servo-axis with very high precision. The main spindle drive features high-resolution feedback to cater to low speeds. The Bosch Rexroth controller can stop the operation of the main spindle through direct current braking when there is a power failure. The programming module is connected at the bottom of this product. The unit does not feature an additional encoder input or bleeder. The product must be stored and transported between -30°C and 85°C. The main spindle drive controller does not have any protection against water.

The drive controller should feature at least 80mm clearance from the top of the control cabinet that encloses it. The main spindle drive features controller-specific connections, CNC and feedback connections as well as power connections. The power, CNC and feedback connection have the same terminal and plug assignments in all controllers. The unit has an X15 terminal strip to connect or install a controller-specific interface. The connection plans of the CNC and feedback connections can be identified without any problem using a text string.

The electrical connecting accessories of the main spindle drive comprise two plug-in terminals for the motor NTC resistor and monitoring, control and ready state contacts of the mains contactor. The programming module features application-related and drive-related parameters. The operating characteristics of the drives in the controller are affected by the drive-related parameters. The unit has a type plate fitted on it at the bottom on the left side. It also has a barcode sticker that gives all the required details for servicing. The printed circuit board of the software module may get damaged if it is touched. The drive controller along with a one-year warranty period can be shipped to any country.
