The RAC 3.5-150-460-D00-W1-220 is main spindle drive controller from Bosch Rexroth. This drive controller has a current rating of 150A and is specifically made for numerically controlled machine equipment. It has a broad speed range and an internal position control loop. It has a maximum resolution of 1/4 000 000th of the revolution after receiving a signal. This RAC 3 main spindle drive controller has a rated supply voltage of AC 220 V / 50 ... 60 Hz for control electronics. For power electronics, the rated supply voltage is 3 x AC 380 ... 460V; 50 ... 60Hz. In this RAC 3 product, the emergency-stop switch and the main contactor are integrated together.
This main spindle drive controller has a 16-bit parallel digital speed set-point. This interface option is necessary for connection to PLCs. This feature is beneficial with low-set points and long-line distances. The product has no additional encoder input, no additional interface and no additional bleeder.
