Product Description:
The RAC 3.5-150-460-APD-W1-220 is a main spindle drive by Bosch Rexroth. This unit comes equipped with an intelligent digital control of INDRAMAT 2AD asynchronous main spindle motors. This unit should be operated at a maximum altitude of 1000mm over sea level and an average temperature ranging between 5 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius. Do not exceed 55 degrees Celsius temperature to avoid motor failure. The motor has an internal position control loop that positions the spindle independently, along with a broad speed range. This unit can operate in the range of C axis in the position control loop and has the highest resolution of 1/4 000 000th of a revolution.
The motor is equipped for cooling by having an inbuilt fan and the cooling air passes through an air shaft into the unit. This unit is provided with a spindle motor that is frameless that supplies continuous power to the motor output shaft at 10 kW to 30 kW. It also comes equipped with an additional interface as input for set point that is digital at 16 bits parallel for 3600 positions. This unit is used for numerically controlled machine tools. It is protected under IP 10 category providing it protection against all objects except water and also deliberate penetrations for a radius of over 50mm.
The power electronics have a supply voltage of 3 x AC 380 and 460V at a frequency of 50/60Hz while the control electronics have a voltage rate of ACC 220V/50….60Hz. The unit is safe to be used at humidity risked areas and comes with a set speed of +/- 10 Volts for CNC control connection. This unit has a one-year warranty period.
