Product Description:
The RAC 2.3-250-460-AP0-W1 manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Industry complies with the DIN VDE 0160, Sec. 5.5.1.3 and 6.5.1.3 safety guidelines for closed or controlled cabinet installation. The drive has a protection class of IP 10 under the EN 60 529. This protection class means that the controller is safeguarded against penetration by objects with widths greater than 50mm. However, the drive does not have protection against water and intentional penetration.
Mounting of the drive can either be inside or outside a control cabinet. A mounting frame is used to reinforce the cabinet during installation. The frame also creates a leveled surface for placing the gasket ring found on the controller. The following types of equipment are required during the mounting of the control cabinet: an automatic mounting machine for the RAC 2.3-250-460-AP0-W1 drive and lifting equipment for weights of up to 121kg. When installing the cabinet: Detach the mounting frame from the backside of the servo drive and then fix the frame to the back of the control cabinet using the supplied screws.
The RAC 2.3-250-460-AP0-W1 interface provides different electrical connections that are dependent on the drive's type of operation. The CNC and the feedback connection are easily found and tested through the use of a text string. The controller is supplied with specific electrical accessories such as the plug-and-socket used for connecting the drive to the control cabinet and the motor to the NTC resistor. The electrical connection accessories include the following: NTC-resistor plug-in terminals, main control plug-in terminals for contact, and monitoring of the drive. Both signal and function level indicators connected to the controller's interface are separate from the spindle controller. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
