The RAC 2.3-250-460-A0I-W1 is an advanced and sophisticated main spindle drive controller manufactured by Indramat. The drive controller is designed to control and monitor the speed and position of two main types of Indramat servo motors: The Indramat 2AD asynchronous main spindle motors and The 1MB frameless spindle motors with a continuous motor power output of 30 to 52 kilowatts. Servo motors controlled by the RAC 2.3-250-460-A0I-W1 spindle drive controller can be distinguished by their broad speed range, high stiffness, high accuracy, and broad power output. The unique characteristics of servo motors controlled by the RAC 2.3-250-460-A0I-W1 spindle drive make the spindle drive particularly effective in Numerically Controlled machines.
The RAC 2.3-250-460-A0I-W1 spindle drive controller is produced under ideal industrial conditions according to international standards. It is delivered with a special plugged-in AS programming module, which helps it adapt to a specific servo motor and implement the spindle controller's unique characteristics. The contains a heat sink and air blower, which it uses to regulate its internal temperature via Natural Convention. The drive controller does not contain an additional bleeder resistor.
