The RAC 2.3-200-460-A0S-W1 product is a main spindle drive controller made by Bosch Rexroth. This RAC series product has a design code of 3. This device can be used for fault-elimination and diagnostics applications. It features an internal position loop for positioning the spindle independently as a signal response. The loop is closed by optional spindle feedback or motor feedback. The drive features a feedback of high resolution for handling its low speeds. The housing of the controller encompasses the heatsink for the fan as well as power electronics. The product has a modular design. The device features a Q1 switch and a link circuit connection at the top.
The drive controller has a programming module that can be reused across other controllers. The unit can be allowed to function at an extreme temperature of 55°C with reduced performance because of derated data. It can be put to use in humid conditions. The device has been manufactured in compliance with DIN VDE 0160 specifications. The drive controller should be fitted inside a control cabinet after taking the required protective measures to avoid contact.
