The RAC 2.3-200-460-A00-Z1 main spindle drive controller is a product from Bosch Rexroth. It has a 3 x AC 460V/60Hz, 3 x AC 400V/50Hz connections voltage rating, and a 300A current rating. The drives equipped by the main spindle drive controller are stiff with a wide range of speed and continuous power, making it ideal to be used as main spindle drives for numerically controlled machine equipment. The main spindle drive controller can be connected directly to a three-phase network supply, meaning that the emergency stop switch and the main contactor are joined. In the event of power failure, the drive controller is stopped through direct current braking. The RAC 2.3-200-460-A00-Z1 comes with a built-in fan for cooling. It is placed in the housing of the main spindle drive controller.
The product can supply an extra modular controller with a link circuit connection and control voltage bus. It has an analogue speed set-point of +/- 10 volts that can be integrated into regular CNC controls. This main spindle drive controller does not come with additional encode input and additional interface. The RAC 2.3-200-460-A00-Z1 has a protection class of IP 10 and has been made in accordance with the EN 60 529 specifications.
