Product Description:
The RAC 2.3-200-380-D00-Z1 is a main spindle drive controller, belonging to RAC 2 series of Bosch Rexroth drive controllers. This product offers broad speed range while driving Indramat Rexroth main spindle motors and frameless spindle motors. It also offers continuous power giving a continuous motor output of 55 kW at the motor’s shaft. The RAC 2.3-200-380-D00-Z1 also has an internal position control loop. This loop can independently position the spindle of the motor in response to a work signal. The loop is completed with feedback from the motor via a direct drive or optional change speed.
The product can be operated without any deration in data up to 45 degrees C. The housing of the main spindle drive controller has a heatsink for both the electronics and cooling fan. RAC 2 series drive controllers can be cooled with outside air from the control cabinet or inside air. Instructions for design and planning of control cabinet are included in the documentation. This unit can also be cooled with hose cooling without any structural modifications. The RAC 2.3-200-380-D00-Z1 offers IP 10 protection according to EN 60 529.
This controller weighs 121 kg. The mounting frame weighs 2 kg. The unit is safely protected against penetration by objects more than 50 mm in diameter. It is not protected against deliberate penetration by hand. This controller operates on 3-phase AC current at 400V up to 300A. The frequency of the input current needs to be between 50-60 Hz.
