Product Description:
The RAC 2.3-200-380-D00-W1 is a RAC 2 series main spindle drive controller from Bosch Rexroth. This product offers digital and intelligent control of Rexroth Indramat motors. These drive controllers find application in Numerically Controlled Machining tools for driving AC spindle motors and frameless spindle motors. This product offers a broad speed range, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications. It can also run motors at very low speed because of the high resolution it offers. The product has a loop inside, called the internal position control loop. This loop can position the spindle of the motor to a high accuracy.
This product is meant to be operated between 5 degree C to 45 degree C and up to a maximum elevation of 1000 meters above sea level. Using the product beyond the permissible limit would lead to deration of data of the controller. This product can be safely operated in areas with risk of humidity. It has a humidity protection rating of Class F as per DIN 40 040. This means that it can safely tolerate humidity in the workshop or room till 70% levels of humidity. CAUTION: Do not allow water droplets to condense on or inside the unit. This unit is not waterproof or splash-proof. To maintain the optimal temperature and humidity, the drive can be installed inside a control cabinet. Plan the cabinet according to the instructions provided in the documentation provided.
This unit comes with an integrated fan inside it to prevent the unit from overheating. It features a 16-bit parallel digital interface for setting the speed point. A one-year Wake Industrial warranty is provided on the product.
