The RAC 2.3-200-380-API-W1 is a main spindle drive controller belonging to the RAC 2 series. It is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth and finds wide use in CNC machines in different industries. The product offers digital control of Rexroth Indramat spindle AC motors, even at very low speeds. This drive controller features an integrated loop for positioning the spindle right up to 1/4,000,000 revolutions. The unit has a mains contactor for electrical connection. It also features an emergency stop switch that can function even when there is a power outage.
This unit has a humidity rating of class F according to DIN 40 040. This means that it can be safely operated in a room with 70% humidity. Do not allow build-up of condensation water on or inside the unit. As this can short-circuit the drive and cause fire hazard.
