The RAC 2.3-200-380-APD-Z1 is a product belonging to the RAC 2 series of main spindle drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth. This product is widely used in numerically controlled machining tools as it offers broad speed range. The product comes with an internal position control loop. This loop can control the motor at very low speed and a very high resolution. The drive controller has a mains contactor and as well as an emergency stop switch. This switch can be operated by D.C. power in case of a power failure.
This drive controller has a maximum ambient temperature rating of 45 degree C. Operating the controller beyond this point would lead to deration of product data. To keep the temperature within the ideal limits, a cooling device can be added to the control cabinet. Please plan the control cabinet with care before operation and installation of the device.
