The RAC 2.3-150-460-A0I-Z1 is part of the Indramat RAC 2 series of main spindle drive controllers. These drive controllers must be mechanically and electrically integrated into the control cabinet. It is important to follow the specifications for proper cooling, mounting, and installation. The RAC 2.3-150-460-A0I-Z1 controls a main spindle drive, which is part of the main spindle motor. The main spindle drive can operate in ambient temperature up to 55 degrees C, but the ideal ambient temperature range is 5-45 degrees C. The maximum altitude for the installation of the control cabinet is 1000 m above sea level. As the altitude increases, the rated torque and power for the main spindle drives goes down.
Humidity and condensation are important concern when operating the RAC 2 drive controllers. Humidity class F is the highest level of ambient humidity allowed.
