Product Description:
The RAC 2.2-250-460-DP0-W1 is a drive controller from Bosch Rexroth for controlling asynchronous main spindle motors and frameless spindle motors. It has an internal position control loop for positioning the spindle as a response to a work signal. The housing of the controller has a heatsink for dissipating heat energy. The controller can be connected with 3 x 400 Volts in a 3 phase supply network. The unit operates at a system frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The controller comes fitted with a control panel. It comes with a link circuit connection near the top of the unit. The RAC 2.2-250-460-DP0-W1 can be fitted with programming modules that store parameters for optimizing the motor.
The drive controller has the design code- 02. Please operate the controller between an ambient temperature range of 5 degrees C to 45 degrees C to avoid nominal values from getting derated. Please note that maximum operating altitude for ideal operation of this unit is 1000 meters above sea level. The permissible humidity rating for this device is class F as per DIN 40 040. This means that the unit can be operated in rooms and workshops that are at a risk for humidity. It offers protection of class IP 10 according to EN 60 529. This means it can safely avoid being penetrated by objects with more than 5 cm diameter. The electrical connections for power and motor power are situated at the bottom side of the controller.
The drive controller gives off heat during its operation. This heat is removed by an integrated heatsink and air slits in the body of the controller. Airshafts and heatsinks should be kept clean to avoid overheating of the unit. The power supply for the motor is done through the A1, A2, and A3 power terminals. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
