The Bosch RAC 2.2-250-460-A00-Z1 is a Spindle Servo Drive belong to the Rexroth RAC 2 series of products. It is compatible to use with frameless spindle motors and Indramat main spindle motors. It has a current rating of 400 Amps and an additional bleeder. The speed selection interface of this module is an analog interface. However, it doesn’t have any additional interfaces or additional encoder inputs. The AS programming module can be used for the configuration of the RAC 2.2-250-460-A00-Z1 drive controller. The module can be easily configured on-site using the programming module. The motors operate in four-quadrant mode when this drive is used with the main spindle motors. It offers direct main connection facilities with a wide power range.
The RAC 2.2-250-460-A00-Z1 Spindle Servo Drive has internal position control loops for positioning the spindle independently according to the signal. The internal position control loops use motor feedback or spindle feedback to ensure precise movements. It offers high-resolution feedback to maintain an extremely precise position when handling low speeds. The RAC 2.2-250-460-A00-Z1 drive is integrated with the main contactor and emergency stop switch when it is directly connected to a three-phase power supply.
The front face of the controller cabinet consists of a switch, a bus for controller voltage connection, a control panel with a display and keypad, feedback interfaces, and connectors for motor and power supply. The RAC 2.2-250-460-A00-Z1 Drive Controller has an in-built fan and heat sink for internal power dissipation. The controller cabinet is equipped with an air duct to pass through the airflow during the internal cooling process. It offers ready-made connection cables to perform the electrical connection quickly without a need for additional connection accessories. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
