This allows precise cutting, drilling, and milling cycles without requiring external motion modules. In a machine tool, it serves as the power stage between the incoming supply and the spindle motor so output speed can be regulated directly by the drive.
Electrically, the controller has a rated current of 200 A, enabling it to drive large-frame spindle motors without saturation. Command words enter through the digital position setpoint interface, coordinated with the speed channel to maintain sub-revolution accuracy during threading or contouring. Wiring for these signals lands on connector X4 with 25 poles, which supports direct connection with standard harnesses. The feedback path supports accurate tracking during operations that require tight speed regulation and positional alignment. The cooling structure is supplied without an additional bleeder, so dynamic braking energy must be handled by the mechanical load or an external resistor block.
