The RAC 2.2-200-460-API-W1/S001 model comes with the permanent ambient temperature range of +5 to +45 ͦC and the maximum tolerable temperature range of +55 ͦC. The drive controller can be cooled with a control cabinet outside and inside air. It comes with a built-in fan of the IP 24 protection class which helps in maintaining the housing temperature. The drive controller provides the maximum output of 55 kW and continuous regeneration output of 37 kW at 300 A of continuous current. The controller is designed to take direct power from 3 phase power supply with 3 x AC 400 V, 50 Hz, and ± 15% or 3 x AC 460 V, 60 Hz, and ± 10% augmentation which makes it suitable for position controlling while performing C-axis operations on CNC machines.
The model RAC 2.2-200-460-API-W1/S001 can work efficiently at a maximum altitude of 1000 meters above the sea level and the further increase in altitude affects the controller performance. The maximum ambient humidity class used in this controller is class F, in acc. with DIN 40 040. The protection class used in this model is IP10 which protects it from 50 mm solid particles. The drive controller comes with the analog speed set-up point of ±10 V for connection and additional encoder input for spindle feedback. The total weight of the controller is approximately 125 kg including the weight of the mounting frame and accessories.
