Positioned between the plant power bus and a high-speed motor, the unit regulates torque, speed, and rotation direction so that machining centers and other automated tooling can maintain stable spindle motion. It is intended for machine tools that need closed-loop spindle control during acceleration, cutting, and rapid speed changes. That control helps the spindle respond predictably during drilling, milling, and similar processes where rotational consistency affects the finished surface.
This controller accepts a supply of 3 x AC 400 V at 50/60 Hz, so it can operate from common industrial mains. Its power stage supports a continuous current of 200 A, which suits large spindle motors during sustained load. Motion commands are received through an analog (+/- 10 V) reference input, allowing direct connection to compatible PLC and motion-control outputs.
