Product Description:
The QSY115A-030-HG1-BN is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the QSY Synchronous Servo Motors series. This rotary actuator is intended for closed-loop positioning and velocity control on CNC axes, packaging machinery, and automated handling equipment. By combining permanent-magnet excitation with an encoder interface, the motor converts electrical drive commands into precise mechanical torque. Its compact housing and integrated shaft seal allow installation in washdown or dust-laden areas without requiring separate gear stages.
At zero speed, the motor can deliver a continuous shaft torque of 41.6 Nm while drawing a continuous standstill current of 63.0 A. These values indicate the thermal load that the drive must support during holding or low-speed feed operations. When commanded to nominal rotation, the motor reaches a rated speed of 3000 rpm, allowing direct coupling to ball screws or belt stages without reduction gears. The surface-cooled housing dissipates heat to the surrounding air and has a protection rating of IP65, so the stator windings remain isolated from sprayed liquids and fine particles. For brief acceleration periods, the inverter may supply up to 190.9 A, allowing the rotor to overcome inertia without exceeding its permissible temperature rise.
The electromagnetic design provides a torque constant of 0.66 Nm/A, allowing the drive to estimate load response from measured current. A winding resistance of 0.13 ohm limits resistive power losses, while a winding inductance of 2.0 mH smooths current ripple for stable servo control. A thermal time constant of 60 min indicates that the frame heats gradually, providing time for thermal sensors to respond to changes in the operating cycle. The motor has a peak torque of 87.1 Nm. It can operate at ambient temperatures from 0 °C to +45 °C and at installation altitudes up to 1000 m. Storage is permitted at temperatures from -20 °C to +80 °C.
