Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the QSY112C-030-HG3-BN within its QSY Synchronous Servo Motors series. This permanent-magnet servo motor functions as the rotary element in closed-loop drive systems, translating electronic commands from a controller into precise shaft motion for conveyors, pick-and-place axes, and packaging machinery on automated lines. Integrating the motor with a Rexroth drive provides the torque and speed control needed for accurate positioning and consistent cycle times.
The motor has a rated speed of 3000 rpm and can deliver a continuous torque of 12.0 Nm. At that speed, the windings convert electrical energy into a mechanical output of 3.8 kW, while the motor operates with a DC-bus voltage of 336 V and a phase current of 8.5 A. Four pole pairs synchronize the rotor field with the inverter’s switching pattern, supporting responsive and smooth operation. Mechanical coupling is handled by a 32 mm shaft diameter that fits standard keyed hubs, and the 130 mm flange pilot diameter centers the housing on mating surfaces. The motor is secured through 14 mm mounting holes. An M10 × 22 threaded center hole permits the use of a puller bolt for safe removal of the drive element during maintenance.
Reserve capacity is available for rapid acceleration, with the motor capable of reaching a peak torque of 148.0 Nm when the inverter supplies up to 121.5 A. During prolonged holding conditions, it can produce a continuous stall torque of 44.0 Nm with a continuous stall current of 31.3 A, allowing the axis to remain stationary without exceeding the applicable thermal limit. The assembly weighs 45 kg, so the machine frame must provide adequate structural support. Its mass also adds rotational inertia that can help reduce the effect of sudden load disturbances. Drive current limits and thermal protection should be configured to accommodate the difference between continuous operation, stall conditions, and short acceleration periods.
