Product Description:
The QSY093B-030-HG1-AN is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the QSY Synchronous Servo Motors series. It is designed for precision positioning and velocity control in industrial automation lines, translating drive controller signals into repeatable rotary motion for tooling heads, pick-and-place units, and indexing tables. The motor relies on natural convection for heat dissipation, allowing operation without an added motor fan. Its bearings have a service life of 30,000 hours, supporting long production runs between scheduled maintenance intervals.
The motor has a rated shaft speed of 4500 rpm, providing rapid rotary motion under nominal load. During acceleration or load surges, the drive can request up to 22 Nm of torque, and the stator can deliver a peak phase current of 25.4 A to produce that output. At standstill, the windings draw a continuous current of 5.2 A and produce 5.2 Nm of holding torque, helping the motor resist external forces without position drift. Three pole pairs inside the rotor establish the electrical frequency relationship used by the controller for commutation and feedback calculations. This arrangement supports responsive changes in speed and torque during repetitive positioning cycles.
The housing has an ingress protection rating of IP65, while the shaft exit is separately sealed to IP64 to retain lubricant and keep airborne particles away from the bearing region. The flange uses an IM B5 mounting pattern and is secured with M6 screws, simplifying direct attachment to gearbox inputs or machine frames. Motor temperature is monitored by a KTY 84-130 sensor, which sends real-time data to the drive for overload protection. The windings use Class F insulation, allowing hot-spot temperatures of up to 155 °C. Vibration levels correspond to Grade A, making the motor suitable for installation on standard industrial foundations.
