Product Description:
The QSY071B-030-HG0-UN is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the QSY Synchronous Servo Motors series. Designed as a compact rotary actuator for industrial automation, the motor converts commanded drive current into precisely regulated shaft torque, allowing coordinated motion on pick-and-place axes, packaging stations, and light machining spindles. The IM B5 flange mounting design supports direct face installation on gearboxes or adapter plates, providing a rigid interface for accurate alignment with the driven equipment.
Continuous operation centers on a rated speed of 3000 rpm, where the motor can deliver a mechanical output of 1.7 kW. At this operating point, the shaft produces a steady 5.5 Nm while the stator draws 4.4 A from a DC bus held at 323 V. These values represent the thermal balance reached when the winding temperature rises 100 K above the ambient temperature. Four pole pairs establish the electrical frequency required to reach the rated speed. Position feedback is generated by an ERN 1387 incremental encoder, while a KTY 84-130 sensor reports the winding temperature to the drive for real-time thermal protection. Power conductors are routed through a 9-pin flange socket, and an IP64 shaft seal protects the shaft opening from airborne contaminants.
Short indexing moves can use a maximum torque of 32.0 Nm for up to 200 ms, during which the winding can accept a surge current of 29.0 A without exceeding its insulation limits. When the rotor is locked, the motor can maintain a stall torque of 9.0 Nm with a continuous stall current of 7.2 A. The housing has a protection rating of IP65, shielding internal components from dust and low-pressure water jets during washdown or exposure to coolant mist.
