The PST6250.280-L is one of the thyristor power units with integrated control function in the PST 6250 series. It is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for industrial environments as per DIN EN 50082-2 and 50081-2 on electromagnetic compatibility, specifically in connecting welding transformers. The PST6250.280-L is a fully integrated unit made up of components like a weld timer which is the central processing unit and a slot for the I/O interface, which in this case is serial, parallel or fieldbus. There is also an optional slot for the fieldbus module for programming and another optional one for retrofitting a quality module.

This two-phase thyristor power unit was module designed for recessed mounting, and can only be installed in a particular ambient temperature.
