The PST610-EL is a solid-state semiconductor design based automatically regulated transformer rectifier-power unit offering persistent current characteristics for a wide range of welding applications. The power rectifier unit is recommended for heavy duty industrial welding due to innovative design and high-tech electronics control and monitoring features. The compact PST610-EL Thyristor power unit is suitable for usage in resistance welding of metals.  The product is manufactured by Bosch-Rexroth, for industrial environments as per DIN EN 50082-2 and is also resistant to electromagnetic interference as per standard 50081-2 on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The PST610-EL Thyristor power unit is made with durable metallic casing and is integrated as a portable welding box unit. Beside integrated control and monitoring functionality the futuristic PST610-EL power rectifier unit features integrated weld timer, parallel and serial I/O (input/output) interfaces, and Fieldbus communication interface. The unit also encompasses a built-in battery compartment. To endure thermal stability the product implements Air cooling mechanism and a proper surface-mounted heat sink. Minimized cabling is achieved for the unit due to compact design.

The BOS-5000 interface of the PST610-EL Thyristor power unit is used for programming, operation and diagnostics. The embedded thermostat of the Thyristor-power unit sends a fault message to the integrated weld timer, to trip output function if the temperature of the power unit reaches above 80 °C. The PST610-EL Thyristor power unit is offered up to max. 76 kVA, with rated input voltage 400 V -20% to 600 V +10%, 50/60 Hz and rated current 130 Ampere (Nominal system current). The product is characterized for safer operation by implementing Overvoltage, Over-current and Overload features in the system design. The degree Protection IP54 is ensured for product.
