The Bosch PST6250.330-L is a 2-phase thyristor power supply unit designed for recessed mounting. It includes a weld timer with INTERBUS interface. It belongs to PST 6250 series which can work with welding transformers with maximum 250 kVA power rating. Bosch also manufactures PST 6100 series power supply units which are rated for use with transformers having maximum 76 kVA power rating. The PST6250.330-L is an air cooled device. Sufficient free space must be provided around an installed power supply to allow for smooth air flow which is required for cooling. The maximum recommended ambient temperature for operation is 45 degrees Celsius. The ambient temperature should not exceed 55 degrees Celsius under any conditions. If a PST6250.330-L unit needs to be transport or stored, the ambient temperature should be maintained between -25 and 70 degrees Celsius.
During operation and storage / transport the air which surrounds the PST6250.330-L should be free of acids, salts, corrosive agents as they can damage the power supply unit. Rated voltage for the PST6250.330-L is 400 to 600 Volts AC at 50 / 60 Hertz. Integrated metal oxide varistor is available for providing overvoltage protection. The nominal system current is 200 Amps.
