The PST6250.201-L is a thyristor-based power unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the PST Thyristor Power Units series. In automation cells, it fires controlled half cycles to adjust primary-side voltage on heating or magnetizing transformers, converting a fixed three-phase supply into the precise RMS value requested by the supervisory PLC. The design integrates gate-drive electronics, fieldbus interfaces, and machine I/O, so a standalone cabinet can regulate medium-current loads without an external power stage.
It is air-cooled, so ambient airflow removes heat without liquid circuits. The climatic category 3K3 classifies the unit for control cabinets that reach 55 °C with low condensation.
