Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth’s unit PST6100.355-L thyristor power unit is operated at an ambient temperature ranging from 0° C to 55° C. The PST power unit is manufactured as per DIN EN 50082-2 for industrial operation only. The thyristor unit can be connected to a power line using a grounded TN or TT system with a voltage of 400 V -20% to 600 V +10%. The Electrical connection, mains supply, and transformer are also connected via box terminal. Cable connections should be less than 25mm to reduce signal and power interference caused by electromagnetic fields during operation. The 2-phase thyristor power unit is designed for recessed mounting using a mounting plate into a control cabinet and is cooled with air or water. If cooling is through the air, leave an allowance of 100mm on the upper and lower side to allow for sufficient air circulation over the unit.
The PST6100.355-L front panel has a weld timer with an LED light indicator to relay signals during the operation. When the power unit starts working, the green “Power” LED on the weld timer (CPU) lights up. The vice versa occurs when the PST power unit is off. The thyristor power unit is integrated with a BOS-5000 interface for the display functions. A complete assembled thyristor power unit weighs approximately 12.5Kg hence it can be transported from one place to another with ease.
The PST6100.355-L power unit functions as a current inverter for the welding machine transformer. It has a defined design and functionality that are targeted at optimizing welding quality and can be installed easily into a portable welding box system.
