The PSI64C0.747-W1 is a medium-frequency inverter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the PSI Frequency Inverters series. Installed between a mains supply and an induction or synchronous load, the unit modulates line power so automation controllers can adjust motor speed and process energy with minimal mechanical intervention. Its role in a production cell is to convert fixed mains voltage into variable output power while coordinating with the cooling and monitoring hardware commonly found inside enclosed control cabinets.

The electrical interface accepts a three-phase input of 400–480 VAC at the common industrial frequencies of 50 or 60 Hz.
