The PSI63C0.638-L1 is a medium-frequency inverter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the PSI Frequency Inverters series. It converts three-phase mains power into controlled medium-frequency output for induction heating, hardening, or similar industrial automation tasks that require adjustable energy. The device uses a three-phase medium-frequency inverter topology and integrates a 24 V logic supply, allowing its control electronics to be powered directly from the unit.
The power section accepts 400 to 480 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz and can deliver a peak output current of 800 A while sustaining a nominal system current of 110 A. Cabinet heat dissipation at maximum power reaches 170 W. The air-cooled design limits thermal stress, with total cooling losses capped at 360 W. Internal switching operates at a clock frequency of 1 kHz, and the inverter can store up to 256 user programs.
