It draws power from a three-phase mains circuit rated at 400–480 VAC and can sustain a nominal mains current of 110 A. An air-cooled heat sink removes switching and conduction losses, which amount to 69 W of cabinet dissipation at nominal load. Control functions are executed by a TriCore processor, providing deterministic regulation of output frequency and duty cycle. Communication and decentralized parameter handling are provided over a PROFIBUS I/O channel, which also serves as the internal timer source. Auxiliary 24 VDC electronics are supplied by an integrated 2 A source, allowing proximity sensors or contactors to be powered directly from the inverter without an external supply.

The inverter carries an IP20 protection rating, so it must be installed in a closed electrical cabinet.
