The PSI6300.750-L2 is a medium-frequency inverter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the PSI Frequency Inverters series. Intended for integration in industrial automation cells, the unit converts three-phase utility voltage into a controllable medium-frequency output so that induction heaters, high-frequency transformers, or specialized actuators can be supplied from a single cabinet. As a cabinet-mounted device, it relies on forced airflow through the chassis rather than separate heat sinks.

Electrically, the inverter accepts a three-phase supply between 480 – 690 VAC and delivers an output that can be modulated up to 1 kHz for process control. The line side can draw a maximum primary current of 800 A, while the output bus can tolerate short-duration secondary peaks of 36 kA. During continuous operation, the mains current stabilizes near 110 A, allowing standard fuses and contactors to be sized accordingly. To accommodate these currents, the power terminals support conductors up to 50 mm², and the installation guide calls for a dedicated 35 mm² cable pair between the inverter and the load. A minimum clearance of 100 mm above and below the frame preserves airflow, and the assembly is classified as Class A equipment for industrial environments.

Thermal management uses an air-cooled path that removes cabinet heat; at full power, the inverter contributes 200 W of cabinet heat, and total cooling losses can reach 420 W when auxiliary components are active. The enclosure carries a protection rating of IP20 and uses a 3 mm gasket on the door flange to keep fingers and debris away from live parts. Climatic rating 3K3 permits operation in control rooms where temperature and humidity are limited, and performance remains unchanged up to a mounting altitude of 2000 m. An EtherNet timer channel provides external run-time coordination with the plant PLC.
