Product Description:
The PSI6300.627-L1 is a medium-frequency inverter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the PSI Frequency Inverters series. It converts three-phase mains power into a regulated medium-frequency output, allowing automated equipment to apply controlled electrical energy to industrial processes. The unit is intended for cabinet installation and uses forced-air cooling to remove heat generated by the switching components. An integrated auxiliary power section supplies the internal control electronics from the same enclosure.
Input power is accepted at 400 to 480 VAC and 50 or 60 Hz. The internal power stage switches at 1 kHz to shape the medium-frequency output waveform. A continuous output current of 110 A is available for sustained operation. The logic and gating circuits operate from a 24 V DC control supply, and the built-in auxiliary supply can deliver up to 2 A. The surrounding-air limit is 45 °C for cabinet operation and 55 °C for field-mounted inverter operation, while the overall operating temperature range is +10 °C to +55 °C. Storage is permitted between -25 °C and +70 °C. Cabinet heat dissipation is 69 W under basic operating conditions and rises to 170 W at maximum load, while the heat-sink airflow removes up to 360 W. Spring-clamp terminals accept conductors up to 35 mm², and the supply lugs accommodate mains conductors up to 50 mm². The unit uses air cooling without liquid assistance and is suitable for climatic category 3K3 under EN 60721-3-3.
At peak output, the inverter can deliver 800 A to the connected process load. The matching transformer secondary is rated for 36 kA, providing the high current required by the application. Metal-oxide varistor arresters protect the power stage against line transients. The housing has an IP20 ingress protection rating, making it suitable for installation inside a closed control panel. Integrated DeviceNet support provides communication for timer functions, operating sequences, and system control. The inverter has a shipping mass of 20 kg.
