The PSI6300.336-W1 is a medium-frequency inverter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the PSI Frequency Inverters series. Installed in automated welding, brazing, or induction-heating cells, it converts factory mains power into a regulated medium-frequency output that can energize high-current secondary circuits. The unit combines a water-cooled power bridge with an INTERBUS timer, allowing process controllers to trigger precise energy windows that match motion cycles, temperature ramps, or material feed rates in repetitive manufacturing.

Incoming three-phase power at 400–480 VAC is rectified and inverted to the commanded medium frequency. During continuous operation, the inverter provides 800 A to the load. A switching rate of 1 kHz limits current ripple while controlling IGBT losses. The control electronics draw power from a separate 24 V DC rail. The enclosure has an IP20 rating and must be mounted inside a sealed panel. Installation requires 100 mm of vertical clearance for cable routing and airflow. The unit releases 110 W into the cabinet air, while the liquid circuit removes 420 W from the power section.
