It converts fixed three-phase mains power into a variable medium-frequency output used to drive induction heaters, high-speed spindles, or other loads that require controlled high-frequency power. When integrated into an automation cell, the inverter allows the system to match process power to demand while removing heat generated by switching losses. The unit serves as the energy conversion stage in systems that require regulated, digitally timed power delivery. Its design supports controlled energy transfer in industrial processes that rely on repeatable timing and adjustable output.
During operation, the inverter dissipates thermal energy through its water-cooled heat sink, allowing full current delivery without relying on cabinet airflow. The housing has an IP20 protection rating, so the unit must be mounted inside a control cabinet and is protected against accidental finger contact.
