The Bosch Rexroth Indramat PSI62C0.632-W1 belongs to the PSI Frequency Inverters series and functions as a medium-frequency inverter within automated production lines. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into regulated high-frequency current that excites induction coils or high-frequency transformers used for welding, brazing, or surface treatment tasks. The housing and interface arrangement allow the inverter to be mounted near the work cell, while the associated controller supervises its operation through the available fieldbus architecture.

The inverter accepts a supply range of 400–480 VAC, and copper conductors up to 95 mm² can be terminated at the mains connections to carry the required current. Thermal energy from the power stage is removed through a water-cooled plate, eliminating the need for cabinet airflow around the heat sink. Communication with the supervisory PLC is handled through a DeviceNet slave interface, while a DeviceNet timer resource synchronizes internal sequences with field commands.
