The PSI6200.228-W1 is a medium-frequency inverter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the PSI Frequency Inverters series. Installed in automated heating or welding lines, it accepts factory three-phase power and delivers a regulated medium-frequency output that can be controlled by the machine controller. This arrangement allows precise energy dosing, improving process consistency and reducing thermal stress on workpieces.

The inverter operates from a supply of 400 to 480 VAC and draws a rated mains current of 220 A. Internally, the power devices operate with a control clock of 1 kHz, providing precise output waveform modulation. Heat generated by switching losses is carried away through a water-cooled jacket. A flow rate of 4 L/min at an inlet temperature of up to 30 °C keeps semiconductor junctions within safe operating limits.
