The PSI61C0.638-L1 is a medium-frequency inverter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the PSI Frequency Inverters series. It converts factory three-phase power into a regulated medium-frequency output that can run induction heaters, motorized spindles, or other loads requiring variable magnetic fields. The design combines the main power stage with an auxiliary 24 V control supply, giving machine builders a single package for energy conversion and low-voltage logic support in automated cells.

The input section tolerates a three-phase line voltage of 400 to 480 VAC, allowing direct connection to common industrial distribution networks. Internal timing circuits synchronize with mains operating at 50 or 60 Hz, supporting use on both standard supply frequencies without jumper changes.
