The PSI6100.143-L1 medium-frequency inverter is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the PSI Frequency Inverters series. The unit serves as a cabinet-mounted power stage that transforms the plant's three-phase supply to a controlled medium-frequency output suitable for induction heating, resonant converters, and other automation equipment that needs precise energy dosing. It forms the electrical interface between the mains and the load, executing switching sequences issued by the machine control.

The inverter accepts a mains window from 400 – 480 VAC and chops it against an internal carrier of 1 kHz, producing the frequency spectrum required by the load. At steady state, the power section conducts a continuous thermal current of 110 A, while peak demands are handled by an output rating of 400 A. Cabinet heat dissipation starts at 69 W under standby conditions, rises to 170 W at maximum power, and reaches a design ceiling of 360 W that is removed by an air-cooled path.
