Product Description

The PPC-R22.1N-T-L2-NN-NN-FW PPC series CNC module offered by Bosch Rexroth is equipped with a grounding bolt at the bottom. The product supports the plugging of an axis processor module in each of its optional sockets. The device renders a powerful, flexible and compact machine control solution when it is used with the MTS-R01.2 PLC control unit. The SRAM stores the application-specific NC data residually. This data is permanently lost if the lithium battery gets discharged completely when the power supply gets turned off. The MTC-P and MTC-R active axis processor modules must not be used in the CNC module.

The loading of the APR and CPU firmware components through a user interface can take place only if the boot monitor or loader is available. The APR firmware is primarily responsible for communication through the SERCOS interface, axes interpolation and several other functions related to the axes. The COM diagnosis serial interface has several settings such as 9600 Baud, 1 stop bit, no parity and 8 data bits. The module is a good choice for use in machining centers. It must not be used when the temperature fluctuation is very high. Tampering with the module can cause electric shock, bodily harm or material damage.

The CNC module must be stored and transported between -25°C and 70°C. The module also features a relative humidity of 5% to 95% during transport and storage. The cross-section for the power supply cable ranges between 0.75mm2 and 1.5mm2 based on current requirements. The product should be worked on only by personnel who are qualified and trained to operate and use it. It must always be installed inside a switch cabinet.
