The NFE02.1-230-008 is a single-phase mains filter from the NFE Mains Filters series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Placed on the supply side of a drive or control cabinet, the unit suppresses line-borne noise and keeps switching transients generated by inverters from returning to the public grid. By attenuating differential and common-mode disturbances it supports compliance with electromagnetic compatibility limits and protects sensitive upstream devices in industrial automation systems. Its compact footprint allows placement close to the mains contactor without rearranging existing wiring.

The electrical rating of the filter matches typical single-phase supplies found in drive cabinets. It tolerates up to AC 230 V +10% at the input, and its choke and capacitor network is dimensioned for a nominal line current of 7.5 A. Internal losses are limited to 7.2 W, so only a minor amount of heat is added to the enclosure. Any of these cables can enter from above, below, or the side because the filter supports mounting in any orientation inside a panel.
